my belle of the week is the stunning kiana! when i started my blog, she was one of the first ladies i thought of when i imagined doing this segment. i mean her instagram selfies are always a+, and she has the cutest and most unique style. i loved getting to talk to her for the hour and a half we were getting these shots and hanging out. she was such a blast to be around, i think you guys are really going to like these outfits and gorgeous pictures we got. her looks include a graphic tee, a flowy midi skirt, a beautiful pale pink skater dress, thrifted high waisted shorts, and the absolute cutest shirt dress that i'm totally jealous of. if you're interested in these looks, keep reading :)
i'm so in love with this pale pink, long sleeve, skater dress she brought for our shoot. it fits her like a glove, and she looks so so beautiful in it! she mentioned to me that this was her graduation dress, and i would say it definitely would make a perfect dress for any special occasion like that. her dress is from free people, and the shoes are from the rainbows brand. i think adding the sandals makes the look more casual, and if you wanted to dress it up, you could switch them for nude heels & add some glitzy jewelry!
her next look is seriously to die for! she said she likes to wear something trendy and modern with this flowy, burgundy, midi skirt from altar'd state, to make it look "not so amish". i think this makes the look so different and i love mixing and matching different styles like this as well. the ariel graphic cut-off tee is from wet seal, it has cut outs in the back, and she mentioned to me that the back is her favorite part. i love how the reds in this outfit look together. i think this look would be great for just about any occasion. the long length of the skirt covers her legs but the cutouts in the back show some skin, i just think this outfit goes so well together, and it's not something i would typically pick out. that's why i love doing this segment, because i get to see girls wearing outfits i wouldn't usually go for and be encouraged to go for it!
her next outfit is very casual and would be perfect for a summer festival or bonfire. her periwinkle, crocheted crop top is from pac sun. i love the cut on this, it's very flattering, but not so exposing that you would constantly have to be pulling it up. once again, she's wearing the rainbow brand sandals with some cute little anklets. i think they make this look beachy and laid back. her shorts are thrifted. this outfit sells itself, you could really wear it for anything!
this was kiana's favorite look from the shoot. she said she loves this dress and planned on wearing it for graduation, but decided on the first dress instead. it's a dainty little shirt dress from urban outfitters. it has buttons going all down the front of it, short sleeves, a cotton material, and maroon colored. this dress is so extremely versatile, you could really wear it for anything. i think the dress really brings out her hair, it looks so freaking great on her frame!
i'm so in love with her two finger tattoos. you can clearly see the wolf on her pointer finger, but she also has a white music note on her thumb! i think that is such a cool idea and its like you always have a little accessory on your fingers. her rings add the perfect amount of color to all of her outfits. i want the turquoise one in my collection like now!
